1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Konduone 12" x 10" Portable Heat Press Machine. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new heat press. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Always place the heat press on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep hands and fingers away from the heating plate during operation to prevent burns. The heating plate reaches high temperatures.
  • Do not leave the machine unattended while it is powered on or heating.
  • Ensure the power cord is not damaged and is properly connected to a grounded outlet.
  • Unplug the machine when not in use or before cleaning and maintenance.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.
  • The machine features an automatic shut-off function for overheating protection, turning off after 10 minutes without operation. However, always manually power off and unplug after use.

5. Setup

  2. Place the safety base on a flat, sturdy, and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Place the heat press machine onto the safety base.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard grounded electrical outlet (110V).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power Button until the display illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power Button until the display turns off.

6.2 Setting Temperature and Time

  1. Press the Set Temp Button. The temperature display will flash.
  2. Use the Up/Down Arrows to adjust the desired temperature.
  3. Press the Set Temp Button again to confirm the temperature.
  4. Press the Set Time Button. The time display will flash.
  5. Use the Up/Down Arrows to adjust the desired time.
  6. Press the Set Time Button again to confirm the time.

6.3 Heat Transfer Process

  1. Prepare your garment or material on a flat, firm surface. Ensure it is wrinkle-free.
  2. Place your heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or sublimation design onto the material as desired.
  3. Preheat the machine to the recommended temperature and time for your specific material and HTV type (refer to the Time & Temperature Guide below).
  4. Once the machine reaches the set temperature, place it firmly onto your design, applying even pressure.
  5. Press the Start Button to begin the countdown.
  6. When the timer finishes, lift the heat press and immediately place it back on its safety base.
  7. Follow the peeling instructions for your specific HTV (hot peel, warm peel, or cold peel).

6.4 Time & Temperature Guide

This guide provides recommended settings for various HTV materials. Always perform a test press on a scrap piece of fabric before applying to your final project.

Note: W/Q = Warm Peel / Gentle Press; C/P = Cool Peel / Firm Press.

7. Maintenance

  • Ensure the machine is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
  • Wipe the heating plate with a soft, damp cloth to remove any residue. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Clean the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Store the machine in its canvas bag in a dry, safe place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting
