1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the proper installation and maintenance of your Odashen HEPA and sponge filter set. These replacement filters are designed to be compatible with various Samsung vacuum cleaner models, ensuring your appliance maintains optimal cleaning performance and contributes to a cleaner indoor air environment by effectively capturing dust and allergens.
Regular replacement of your vacuum cleaner's filters is crucial for its efficiency and longevity. Please read this manual thoroughly before proceeding with filter replacement.
2. Product Components
Your Odashen filter set includes one HEPA filter and one sponge filter, designed to work in conjunction to provide comprehensive filtration.

2.1 HEPA Filter
The HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter is designed to capture very fine particles, including dust mites, pet dander, pollen, and other allergens. It features a pleated paper material encased in a durable plastic frame.

2.2 Sponge Filter
The sponge filter acts as a pre-filter, capturing larger dust particles and debris before they reach the HEPA filter. This extends the lifespan of the HEPA filter and enhances overall filtration efficiency.

4. Installation Instructions
Follow these general steps to replace the filters in your Samsung vacuum cleaner. Specific filter compartment locations may vary by model; refer to your vacuum cleaner's original manual for precise details if needed.
- Power Off and Unplug: Before beginning any maintenance, ensure your vacuum cleaner is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet to prevent electrical hazards.
- Locate Filter Compartment: Identify the filter compartment on your vacuum cleaner. This is typically located near the dust bin or exhaust vent.
- Remove Old Filters: Open the filter compartment. Carefully remove the old HEPA filter and sponge filter. Dispose of them responsibly.
- Clean Compartment (Optional): Wipe down the filter compartment with a dry cloth to remove any accumulated dust or debris.
- Insert New Sponge Filter: Place the new blue sponge filter into its designated slot. Ensure it sits flush and securely.
- Insert New HEPA Filter: Insert the new HEPA filter into its slot. Ensure the filter is oriented correctly according to your vacuum cleaner's design (e.g., airflow direction).
- Close Compartment: Securely close the filter compartment cover. Ensure it latches properly.
- Power On: Plug your vacuum cleaner back into the power outlet and turn it on. Test the suction to confirm proper installation.
5. Maintenance and Replacement Schedule
For optimal performance and to maintain the air quality benefits, it is recommended to replace your HEPA and sponge filters every 1 to 3 months. This frequency may vary depending on usage intensity, the presence of pets, and general household dust levels.
Regularly inspect your filters for visible dirt and damage. A heavily soiled filter can reduce suction power and diminish air filtration effectiveness.

7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues after filter replacement, consider the following:
- Reduced Suction Power:
- Ensure filters are installed correctly and seated firmly in their compartments.
- Check if the new filters are heavily soiled prematurely (unlikely for new filters, but possible if vacuuming extremely dusty areas).
- Verify that other parts of the vacuum (hose, brush roll, dust bin) are clear of blockages.
- Unusual Odors:
- Ensure the filters are dry before installation if they were exposed to moisture.
- If odors persist, it may indicate an issue with the vacuum cleaner itself or other components.
