Setup

  1. Unpacking and Assembly: Carefully remove the scrubber and all accessories from the packaging. Attach the squeegee assembly to the rear of the machine. Install the desired brush or pad onto the brush deck.
  2. Battery Installation and Charging: The RT50D requires two 12V batteries (included). Ensure they are properly connected according to the diagrams in the full manual. Fully charge the batteries using the intelligent 15V charger before first use. Recharge after each shift to extend battery life.
  3. Filling the Solution Tank: Open the water inlet cap on the solution tank. Fill the tank with clean water and an appropriate low-foam, neutral floor cleaning detergent. Do not overfill. The solution tank capacity is approximately 13.2 gallons.

Operating Instructions

  1. Pre-Operation Check: Verify that the solution tank is filled, the recovery tank is empty, the squeegee is properly attached, and the brush/pad is securely installed.
  2. Starting the Machine: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position. The screen display on the control panel will illuminate.
  3. Adjusting Speed: Use the Speed Control Knob on the control panel to set the desired operating speed.
  4. Engaging Cleaning Functions: Press the 'Brush' button to start the brush rotation. Press the 'Water' button to dispense cleaning solution. Press the 'Vacuum' button to activate the vacuum motor for water recovery.
  5. Cleaning Procedure: Engage the forward drive by pressing the 'Forward' button. Guide the machine across the floor in overlapping passes. For reverse movement, press the 'Reverse' button.
  6. Draining Tanks: After cleaning, turn off all functions and the machine. Locate the drain hose for the recovery tank and empty the dirty water into an appropriate disposal area. Flush the recovery tank with clean water. The solution tank can also be drained if there is leftover solution.

Pro Tip: For best performance, use low-foam neutral detergents and recharge the battery after each shift to extend the life of your scrubber.
