2. Product Components

Your linbell G4LDW-U doorbell system includes the following components:

4. Setup and Installation

The linbell G4LDW-U doorbell system is designed for quick and easy installation without the need for wiring or batteries.

4.1. Push Button (Transmitter) Installation

The push button can be installed using either the provided 3M adhesive or screws.

Adhesive Patch Mounting:

  1. Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
  2. Peel off the protective film from the back of the 3M adhesive pad.
  3. Firmly press the push button onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.

Screw Mounting:

  1. Open the back cover of the push button.
  2. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall using the screw holes on the back cover as a template.
  3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  4. Secure the back cover to the wall with screws.
  5. Attach the push button to the secured back cover.

4.2. Receiver Installation

Simply plug each receiver into a standard electrical outlet. For optimal signal reception, it is recommended to plug receivers into outlets that are at least 20 inches above the floor.

5. Operation

Once installed, your linbell doorbell system is ready for use. Follow these steps to customize its operation.

5.1. Adjusting Volume

The receivers offer 5 adjustable volume levels, including a mute mode (0dB) for quiet environments.

  1. Plug in a receiver.
  2. Press the volume button on the side of the receiver repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume levels.
  3. Stop at your desired volume level. The setting will be saved automatically.

5.2. Changing Ringtones

The receivers come with 36 selectable chimes. You can set a different chime for each receiver or even for different transmitters if you have multiple.

  1. Plug in a receiver.
  2. Press the music selection button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available chimes.
  3. Once you hear the desired chime, press and hold the music selection button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED light flashes slowly. This indicates the receiver has entered pairing/learning mode.
  4. Within 30 seconds, press the push button (transmitter) once. The receiver will play the selected chime, confirming successful pairing.

5.3. Pairing Additional Devices

Your linbell doorbell system is pre-paired from the factory. However, if you purchase additional transmitters or receivers, or if you need to re-pair existing devices, follow these steps:

  1. Plug in the receiver you wish to pair.
  2. Select your desired chime and volume as described in sections 5.1 and 5.2.
  3. Press and hold the music selection button on the receiver for approximately 3 seconds until the LED light flashes slowly (indicating pairing/learning mode).
  4. Within 30 seconds, press the push button (transmitter) once. The receiver will play the selected chime, confirming successful pairing.
  5. Repeat this process for any additional transmitters or receivers. One receiver can be paired with up to 10 transmit buttons, and one transmit button can be paired with up to 60 receivers.

6. Maintenance

The linbell G4LDW-U doorbell system requires minimal maintenance due to its batteryless design and durable construction.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the push button and receivers with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ensure the push button is installed in a location within its specified operating temperature range (-4°F to 140°F) and is not submerged in water, despite its IP55 waterproof rating.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your linbell doorbell system, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:
