4.1. Headphones (Receiver)

  • Power/Connect Button: Used to turn the headphones on/off and initiate pairing.

5. Setup

5.1. Powering the Transmitter

  1. Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the transmitter unit.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. The Power/Signal indicator on the transmitter will illuminate.

5.2. Installing and Charging Headphones Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment on the headphones.
  2. Insert the two supplied AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Place the headphones onto the transmitter's charging cradle. Ensure the charging contacts align. The Charging indicator on the transmitter will light up.
  4. Allow approximately 10 hours for the initial full charge. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of working time.

5.3. Connecting to Audio Sources

The transmitter supports both optical digital audio and analog RCA connections.

Optical Digital Audio Connection (Recommended for TVs, Blu-ray players)

  1. Connect one end of the supplied optical cable (Toslink) to the OPTICAL IN port on the transmitter.
  2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical digital audio output port on your TV or audio device.
  3. Ensure your TV's audio output settings are configured to output audio via the optical port (often labeled 'Digital Audio Out' or 'Optical Out') and set to PCM/Stereo format if applicable.

Analog RCA Connection (For older TVs, HiFi systems, CD/DVD players)

  1. Connect the supplied AUX Stereo RCA cable to the RCA L/R input ports on the transmitter (Red to Red, White to White).
  2. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the audio output ports (usually 'Audio Out' or 'L/R Out') on your TV or audio device.
  3. If your device has a 3.5mm headphone jack output, use the provided 3.5mm (F) to RCA (M) adapter cable to connect the RCA cable to the 3.5mm jack.

5.4. Automatic Pairing

The headphones and transmitter are designed for automatic pairing. Once both units are powered on and the transmitter is receiving an audio signal:

  1. Turn on the headphones by pressing the Power/Connect button.
  2. The headphones will automatically search for and connect to the transmitter. The Power/Signal indicator on the transmitter will show a stable light when a connection is established.
  3. If no sound is heard, try adjusting the 3-channel RF selector switch on the transmitter to find the clearest signal.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Connect button on the headphones until the indicator light illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Connect button again until the indicator light turns off.
  • The headphones feature an automatic on/off control (ALC) to conserve battery when no signal is detected.

6.2. Volume Control

Adjust the listening volume directly on the headphones using the dedicated volume control dial or buttons located on one of the earcups.

6.3. Channel Selection

The transmitter features a 3-channel RF selector switch. If you experience interference or poor sound quality, try switching to a different channel on the transmitter. The headphones will automatically adjust to the selected channel.

6.4. Operating Range

The headphones offer a wireless range of up to 100 meters (line of sight) from the transmitter. Performance may vary depending on environmental factors and obstacles.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

  • Wipe the headphones and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.

7.2. Battery Care

  • Always use the supplied rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries.
  • If the headphones will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

7.3. Storage

When not in use, store the headphones on the charging dock. This keeps them charged and ready for use, and also provides a convenient storage solution.
