3. Setup and Assembly

Your AKEZ electric bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial setup.

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bike frame.
  2. Insert the removable lithium battery into the compartment and secure it with the provided lock.
  3. Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the charge socket on the battery and then to a power outlet.
  4. The battery level light will indicate charging status. Ensure the charging current does not exceed 3 amps.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

Use the 'Upshift key' and 'Downshift key' on the handlebar to switch between gears and adjust the level of electric assistance.
