Important Safety Information

• Infants can suffocate on soft bedding. Never add a pillow or comforter. Never place additional padding under an infant.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• STRANGULATION HAZARD: Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Never place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys.
• Keep the crib away from windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• Do not place the crib near any heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, or open fires.
• The mattress used with this crib must be at least 27.25 inches (69 cm) by 51.625 inches (131 cm) with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches (15 cm).
• The changing table is intended for use with infants weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg). Never leave a child unattended on the changing table.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires two adults. Use the included assembly tool. Do not use power tools, as they may overtighten fasteners and damage the wood.

Step 1: Prepare the Area

Clear a spacious, flat area for assembly. Lay out all components and hardware. Keep small parts away from children.

Step 2: Assemble the Crib Frame

• Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and barrel nuts. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten yet.
• Note the reversible headboard and footboard design. Choose your preferred finish (decorative veneer or solid) before securing.

Step 3: Install the Mattress Support

• Position the mattress support at the desired height. The crib offers three adjustable mattress heights. For newborns, the highest position is recommended. Lower the mattress support as your child grows and becomes more active.
• Secure the mattress support to the crib frame using the designated hardware.

Step 4: Assemble the Changer Combo

• Attach the side panels and back panel to the changer base.
• Install the shelves and drawer slides. Assemble the drawer and insert it into the changer unit.
• Secure the changing table top to the assembled changer unit.

Step 5: Attach Changer to Crib

• Align the changer combo unit with the crib frame.
• Securely attach the changer combo to the crib using the specified hardware.
• Once all components are assembled, fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

Crib Use

• Always use a standard size crib mattress (sold separately) that fits snugly, leaving no gaps larger than 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) between the mattress and the crib sides.
• Adjust the mattress support height as your child grows.
  • Highest Position: For newborns and infants who cannot push up on hands and knees.
  • Middle Position: For infants who can push up on hands and knees but cannot stand.
  • Lowest Position: For toddlers who can stand. Always use the lowest position before your child can stand to prevent climbing out.
• Discontinue use of the crib when your child begins to climb out or reaches 35 inches (89 cm) in height, or 50 lbs (22.7 kg) in weight, whichever comes first.

Changer Use

• Always use the changing pad with safety straps provided. Secure the child with the safety straps.
• Never leave a child unattended on the changing table. Always keep one hand on the child.
• The changing table is designed for infants up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg).
• Utilize the two spacious shelves and drawer for storing changing necessities within easy reach, but out of the child's grasp.

Conversion Instructions (4-in-1 Functionality)

The Suite Bebe Connelly 4-in-1 Crib and Changer Combo is designed to convert into a toddler bed, daybed, and full-size bed. Conversion kits are sold separately.

• Toddler Bed: Remove the front crib rail and replace it with a toddler guard rail (sold separately). The changing table remains attached.
• Daybed: Remove the front crib rail. The changing table remains attached.
• Full-Size Bed: Disassemble the crib and changing table. Use the headboard and footboard with full-size bed rails (sold separately) to create a full-size bed. The changing table can be used as a standalone dresser.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or strong detergents, as these can damage the finish.
• Inspection: Regularly check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure. Do not overtighten.
• Storage: If storing the crib, ensure it is kept in a dry, temperature-controlled environment to prevent warping or damage to the wood.
• Finish: The crib features non-toxic, baby-safe finishes. Avoid scratching or chipping the finish, as this can expose the underlying wood.

Troubleshooting

• Missing or Damaged Parts: If you discover any missing or damaged parts upon opening the package, do not attempt to assemble the product. Contact Suite Bebe customer support immediately for replacements.
• Loose Connections: If the crib feels wobbly or unstable, re-check all bolts and screws and tighten them securely. Do not overtighten.
• Difficulty Assembling: Ensure you are following the assembly instructions step-by-step. Sometimes, parts may appear similar but have subtle differences. Refer to diagrams carefully. If issues persist, contact customer support.
