2.2 Connecting the Keyboard

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 RGB Backlight Control

The keyboard features 18 Chroma RGB backlight modes. Use the following key combinations to customize the lighting:

• FN + SCRLK: Switch between 18 different backlight modes.
• FN + Left Arrow / Right Arrow: Adjust backlight speed (slower/faster).
• FN + Up Arrow / Down Arrow: Increase/decrease backlight brightness.
• FN + Page Down: Switch between different backlight colors within a mode.

3.3 Special Functions

• FN + Win Key: Locks/unlocks the Windows key to prevent accidental presses during gaming.
• FN + W: Swaps the functionality of the WASD keys with the Arrow keys. Press again to revert.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard:

• Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and chassis.
• For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush.
• Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting it.

4.2 Keycap Replacement

The keyboard comes with a keycap puller for easy replacement of keycaps. To replace a keycap:

1. Gently attach the keycap puller to the keycap you wish to remove.
2. Pull upwards firmly but carefully until the keycap detaches from the switch.
3. Align the new keycap with the switch stem and press down until it clicks into place.

4.3 Waterproof Feature

The ZIYOU LANG MK17 keyboard is designed with drainage holes on the bottom to help protect against accidental spills. In case of a liquid spill:

1. Immediately disconnect the keyboard from your computer.
2. Turn the keyboard upside down to allow liquid to drain through the drainage holes.
3. Wipe any remaining liquid from the surface and allow the keyboard to air dry completely before reconnecting.

5. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or restart your computer.
• RGB lights not working: Check the brightness settings using FN + Up/Down Arrow. Ensure the backlight is not turned off (FN + SCRLK to cycle modes).
• Keys not registering: Clean the affected key area. If using Mac OS, some multimedia keys may have limited functionality. For Mac OS, you may need to adjust keyboard settings in System Preferences (e.g., Keyboard > Auxiliary Key) to remap Command and Option keys if needed.
• WASD keys not working as expected: If WASD and Arrow keys are swapped, press FN + W to revert to default.
