Setup and Installation
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
- Inspect the heater for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not install and contact your supplier.
- Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
2. Mounting Options
This heater can be installed as a wall-mounted unit or used as a freestanding unit with the provided base legs.
Wall Mounting
- Select a suitable wall location, ensuring clearances from combustible materials as specified in local codes and the heater's label.
- Mark the mounting points on the wall using the provided template or measurements from the heater.
- Securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall studs or use appropriate wall anchors.
- Hang the heater onto the mounting bracket.

Freestanding Installation
- Attach the base legs to the bottom of the heater using the provided screws.
- Place the heater on a level, non-combustible surface, ensuring adequate clearance from walls and furniture.
3. Gas Connection
IMPORTANT: Gas connections must be performed by a qualified and licensed gas installer in accordance with all local codes and national standards.
- Ensure the gas supply is turned off before making any connections.
- Connect the appropriate gas supply line (natural gas or propane) to the heater's inlet.
- Use pipe joint compound resistant to LP gas on all threaded connections.
- After connection, turn on the gas supply and check all connections for leaks using a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.
Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure all installation steps are complete and gas connections are leak-free.

1. Lighting the Pilot
- Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position and wait five (5) minutes to clear any gas.
- Turn the control knob to the "PILOT" position.
- Push in the control knob and hold. Immediately light the pilot with the igniter button. Continue to hold the control knob in for about one (1) minute after the pilot is lit. Release the knob. If the pilot goes out, repeat steps 1-3.
2. Operating the Main Burner
- Once the pilot is lit, turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the desired heat setting (e.g., 1 to 5).
- The main burner will ignite. Adjust the knob to achieve the desired heat output.
3. Turning Off the Heater
- To turn off the main burner, turn the control knob clockwise to the "PILOT" position. The pilot will remain lit.
- To turn off the entire heater (main burner and pilot), turn the control knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures safe and efficient operation of your heater.
- Cleaning: Keep the heater area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids. Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove dust from the exterior and air inlets/outlets. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Pilot and Burner Inspection: Annually, or more frequently if needed, inspect the pilot and main burner for proper flame appearance. The pilot flame should be steady and blue. The main burner flame should be blue with slight yellow tips. Any abnormalities should be addressed by a qualified service technician.
- Gas Line Inspection: Periodically check gas connections for leaks using a soap solution.
Troubleshooting
