3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Place the unit on a firm, level, and flat surface. Ensure there are no obstructions to the air intake or output. For optimal performance, maintain at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clearance from walls or furniture.
- Do not place the air purifier near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.
3.2 Filter Installation
The Honeywell HPA080 requires the installation of a Pre-Filter and a HEPA Filter. Ensure all plastic packaging is removed from the filters before installation.

- Locate the filter access cover on the back of the unit.
- Open the cover and remove any pre-installed filters that may have plastic wrapping.

- Insert the Activated Carbon Pre-Filter (Filter A) in front of the HEPA Filter.

5.1 Filter Replacement
The Filter Check/Reset Lights () on the control panel will illuminate when it is time to replace the filters.
- Activated Carbon Pre-Filter (Filter A): Replace approximately every 3 months.
- HEPA Filter (Filter G): Replace approximately every 12 months.
- Optional Enhanced Odor and VOC T Filters: Replace as needed, typically every 3 months, depending on usage and environment.

To replace filters:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
- Open the filter access cover.
- Remove the old filters and dispose of them properly.
- Install new, genuine Honeywell filters as described in Section 3.2.
- Close the filter access cover.
- Plug in the unit and press the Filter Check/Reset Light button for 2 seconds until the light turns off, indicating the filter timer has been reset.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
