• LCD Display: Shows current settings and modes.

Setup

Battery Installation

The TT685II-N uses four AA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting them.

1. Uncover the battery compartment by sliding the cover.
2. Insert four AA batteries according to the polarity indicators.
3. Close the battery compartment securely.

Mounting on Camera

Attach the Speedlite to your camera's hotshoe.

1. Slide the Speedlite's hotshoe into your camera's hotshoe.
2. Rotate the Quick-release Lock clockwise to secure the flash firmly.

Connecting External Power Pack (Optional)

For faster recycling times and extended use, connect an external power pack like the Godox PB960.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Push the power switch to turn the unit on or off.

Flash Modes

The TT685II-N supports TTL, Manual (M), and Multi-flash modes.

• TTL Mode: Automatic flash output based on camera metering. Supports HSS (High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000s), FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation), FEB (Flash Exposure Bracketing), and rear-curtain sync.
• Manual (M) Mode: Allows manual adjustment of flash output from 1/1 to 1/128.
• Multi-flash Mode: Fires a series of rapid flashes for creative effects.

Short press the MODE button to cycle through these modes.

TCM Instant Conversion

The TCM function allows instant conversion from TTL to Manual mode while retaining the proper exposure value.

To use TCM, shoot in TTL mode first, then short press the TCM button to transform to M mode. The flash output will be retained, and you can then adjust it manually.

FEB (Flash Exposure Bracketing) Function

FEB allows the flash to automatically bracket exposure, taking three shots at different exposure values.

Short press the FEB button and turn the dial to set the FEB amount. Shoot three times to obtain images of correct exposure, underexposure, and overexposure.

2.4G Wireless X System

The TT685II-N has a built-in 2.4G wireless X system for seamless connectivity with compatible flashes or flash triggers. It can function as both a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX).

To select Transmitter (TX) or Receiver (RX) unit, short press the Wireless Selection Button. Ensure the channel and group settings match between the transmitter and receiver units for successful communication.
