Required Tools (Not Included)

  • Measuring Tape
  • Pencil
  • Drill (6mm drill bit recommended)
  • Hammer
  • Screwdriver (Phillips head)
  • Hacksaw (if track adjustment is needed)
  • Level
  • Sealant Caulk

Installation Steps

  1. Measure and Mark: Determine the installation width (L) for the top track. If the track is too long, mark the excess and cut it using a hacksaw.
  2. Position Bottom Rail: Place the bottom rail on the bathtub edge. Measure from the center hole of the bottom rail to both sides to ensure proper alignment. Mark the positions for drilling.
  3. Mark Wall Connectors: Measure and mark the height (H=53.6 inches) for the wall connectors. Use a level to ensure accuracy.
  4. Drill Holes: Using a 6mm drill bit, drill holes at the marked positions for the wall connectors and the bottom rail. Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  5. Secure Wall Connectors: Attach the wall connectors to the wall using screws.
  6. Assemble Top Rail: Insert the top rail into the wall connectors.
  7. Install Fixed Glass Panel: Position the fixed glass panel (04) into the bottom rail and secure it to the wall connectors using the provided hardware (09). Ensure the glass is at a 90-degree angle to the tub edge. Mark the position for the bottom fixed glass clamp.
  8. Secure Bottom Fixed Glass Clamp: Drill holes for the bottom fixed glass clamp, insert wall plugs, and secure the clamp with screws.
  9. Install Sliding Glass Panel: Attach the rollers (07) to the sliding glass panel (05). Carefully hang the sliding glass panel onto the top rail.
  10. Install Handles: Attach the handles (08) to both glass panels.
  11. Install Water Seals: Apply the rubber strips (12) to the edges of the glass panels to prevent water leakage.
  12. Apply Sealant: Apply enough sealant caulk along the bottom rail and wall connections to ensure a watertight seal.
  13. Adjust Rollers: Adjust the rollers (03) if the glass panels are tilted to ensure smooth and level sliding.
  14. Curing Time: Do not use the shower or get the seals wet for 24 hours after installation to allow the sealant to cure properly.

Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your shower door.

Glass Cleaning

  • Clean the glass panels regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner.
  • For hard water spots or soap scum, use a solution of white vinegar and water, or a specialized shower glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that can scratch the glass or damage the finish.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning and wipe dry to prevent water spots.

Hardware and Track Maintenance

  • Wipe down the metal components (tracks, handles, rollers) with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Periodically check the rollers and tracks for any debris or buildup that might hinder smooth operation. Clean as necessary.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents on the matte black finish, as this can cause discoloration or damage.
