4. Operation
The Dioche Sound and Light Alarm functions as an output device within a security or emergency system. It does not operate independently but is triggered by an external control unit or sensor.
Activation:
- When the connected security or emergency system detects an event (e.g., intrusion, fire, panic button activation), it will send a signal to the alarm unit.
- Upon receiving the signal, the alarm will immediately activate, emitting its flashing light and loud siren sound.
Sound Adjustment:
The alarm's sound level is adjustable. Refer to your primary control panel or system documentation for instructions on how to modify the decibel output of connected sirens, as this adjustment is typically managed at the system level rather than directly on the alarm unit itself.

Cleaning:
- To clean the alarm unit, gently wipe its surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the ABS material and electronic components.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry before reconnecting power.
Durability and Environmental Considerations:
The Dioche Sound and Light Alarm is designed for durability, featuring impact resistance, good insulation, and resistance to both low and high temperatures. It is also waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor installation in various weather conditions.
