- Connect the propane hose and regulator to the burner assembly and carefully route it into the base enclosure.
- Place a standard 20 lb propane tank (not included) inside the Base Enclosure and connect the regulator. Ensure the tank is upright and securely fastened.
- Perform a leak test on all gas connections using a soapy water solution. Apply the solution to all connections; the appearance of bubbles indicates a leak. Do not operate the heater if a leak is detected. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary.
Operating Instructions
- Before Lighting:
- Ensure the heater is on a firm, level surface, away from combustible materials.
- Open the valve on the propane tank fully.
- Extend the swivel arm to the desired operating position and lock it securely.
- Lighting the Heater:
- Turn the control knob to the "PILOT" position and push it in.
- Press the igniter button repeatedly until the pilot flame lights. Continue to hold the control knob in for 30-60 seconds after the pilot lights to allow the thermocouple to heat up and hold the pilot flame.
- Once the pilot is stable, release the knob. If the pilot extinguishes, repeat the lighting process.
- After the pilot is lit, turn the control knob to the "LOW" or "HIGH" position for desired heat output.

- To Turn Off:
- Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank completely.
- Allow the heater to cool completely before moving or storing.
Maintenance
- Cleaning:
- Regularly clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or flammable cleaning agents.
- Keep the burner and pilot assembly clean and free of dust, dirt, and debris to ensure efficient operation.
- Storage:
- When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the propane tank and store it in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and children.
- Fold the swivel arm down for compact storage, reducing the overall footprint of the heater.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heater will not light | No gas flow; Clogged pilot/burner; Faulty igniter; Empty propane tank | Check propane tank level and ensure valve is fully open; Clean pilot/burner ports; Check igniter electrode for spark; Replace propane tank if empty. |
| Pilot light will not stay lit | Thermocouple not heating sufficiently; Low gas pressure; Pilot flame too small | Hold control knob in longer after lighting pilot; Check propane tank level; Adjust pilot flame if possible (refer to specific instructions in full manual). |
| Low heat output | Low gas pressure; Partially clogged burner; Regulator issue | Check propane tank level; Clean burner ports; Ensure regulator is properly connected and not frozen. |
| Gas odor detected | Gas leak from connections or hose | Immediately shut off gas. Perform a leak test with soapy water; Tighten all connections or replace the hose/regulator if damaged. Do not operate until leak is resolved. |
