- Assemble the Rods:
- After unpacking, lay the two sections of the Roman rods flat.
- Loosen the screws on the metal sheet connecting the two rod sections.
- Pull out half of the metal sheet, then turn the screws back on slightly to hold it.
- Untighten the slider mechanism.
- Pull the belt gently to one side to ensure it is taut.
- Splice the two Roman rods together and tighten the screws to secure the connection.
- Push and pull the slider left and right to test its smoothness.
- Measure and Mark Mounting Locations:
- Use a measuring tape and horizontal instruments to mark the precise location for the mounting brackets on your wall or ceiling.
- Important: All mounting brackets must be aligned in a straight line. The middle mounting bracket should be fixed at the center point of your desired rod placement.

- Prepare Curtains and Rods:
- Remove any protective film from the rods.
- For sheer curtains, put the sheer rings through the end of the rod that does not have the transmission case. Ensure the first sheer curtain goes all the way through the slider mechanism.
- For main curtains, when attaching the curtain rings to the rod, leave the first ring outside the transmission case. The other steps are the same as for sheer curtains.

- Mount the Rods and Attach Motor:
- With the curtains on the rod, carefully mount the entire assembly onto the fixed brackets.
- Ensure the joint of the rod is precisely positioned at the middle bracket.
- The first curtain ring in the middle needs to be attached to the buckle of the slider mechanism.
- Insert the motor into the transmission case and rotate it to tighten securely.
- Connect the battery to the motor (for rechargeable models) and secure it to the wall, ensuring cables are tidy.
- Insert the decorative finials at the ends of the rods.
- Final Adjustments:
- Tidy up the folds of the curtains for a neat appearance.
