Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove all items from the packaging. The package should contain one Amuzik Di Box Effect Pedal and one User's Manual.
Power Supply
The Amuzik Di Box requires a DC 9V AC adapter for power. The power adapter is not included with the product. Ensure the adapter is a standard DC 9V central negative effects pedal power supply. Using an incorrect power supply may damage the unit.

Connections
Connect your instrument (electric guitar or bass) to the 1/4" monaural input jack. Connect the output of the pedal to your amplifier, mixer, or audio interface using either the 1/4" monaural output jack (unbalanced) or the XLR output (balanced) as required by your audio system.

Controls and Functions

- GAIN Switch: This three-position switch allows you to adjust the input gain of your signal. Options are -20dB, 0dB, and +20dB. Select the appropriate gain level to match your instrument's output and desired signal strength.
- CABINET SIMULATOR Switch: Engage this switch to activate the built-in cabinet simulator. This feature emulates the sound characteristics of a guitar speaker cabinet, providing a more natural and refined tone when connecting directly to a PA system or recording interface.
- GND LIFT Switch: Use the ground lift switch to help eliminate hum or buzzing noises caused by ground loops. If you experience unwanted noise, try toggling this switch.
- BALANCED/UNBALANCED Outputs: The pedal offers both 1/4" monaural (unbalanced) and XLR (balanced) output options. Use the balanced XLR output for long cable runs or connections to professional audio equipment to minimize noise interference. The unbalanced 1/4" output is suitable for shorter cable runs to amplifiers or other pedals.

Maintenance
- Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or sub-zero environments.
- Do not disassemble the pedal yourself.
- Always turn off the power of connected equipment when connecting or disconnecting the pedal to prevent damage.
- Keep the pedal away from radios and televisions to avoid reception interference.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Amuzik Di Box, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Sound: Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and functioning. Check all audio cables for secure connections and proper functionality. Verify that the instrument's volume is turned up.
- Unwanted Noise (Hum/Buzz): Try engaging the GND LIFT switch to eliminate ground loop hum. Ensure all cables are in good condition and properly shielded. Keep the pedal away from sources of electromagnetic interference like power supplies or other electronic devices.
- Weak or Distorted Signal: Adjust the GAIN switch to an appropriate level for your instrument. Ensure your instrument's output is strong enough. Check that the CABINET SIMULATOR is engaged or disengaged as desired, as it can alter the perceived signal.
- Intermittent Operation: Check all power and audio connections for looseness. Ensure the power supply meets the DC 9V central negative specification.
