This manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up, operate, and maintain your D-09 mouse for optimal performance.

Note: 1 AA battery is required and not included in the package.

Setup Guide

1. Insert Battery: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment cover securely.

2. Locate USB Receiver: The mini USB receiver is conveniently stored in a small slot beside the battery compartment on the back of the mouse. Gently pull it out.

3. Connect to Device: Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer (laptop, PC, Chromebook, etc.).

4. Automatic Connection: The mouse will automatically connect to your device. No drivers are typically required for most operating systems.

Operating Instructions

• Basic Functions: The mouse features standard left-click, right-click, and a scroll wheel for navigation.
• DPI Adjustment: Press the 'CPI' button located behind the scroll wheel to cycle through the 5 DPI settings (800/1200/1600/2000/2400 DPI). The button will flash to indicate the current DPI level (e.g., 1 blink for 800 DPI, 2 blinks for 1200 DPI, etc.).

• Side Buttons: The mouse includes dedicated forward and backward buttons on the side for convenient web browsing and file navigation. Please note that these side buttons are not available for Mac OS.
• Auto-Sleep Feature: To conserve battery life, the D-09 mouse will enter sleep mode after 8 minutes of inactivity. To wake the mouse, simply click any button.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the internal components.
• Battery Replacement: When the mouse performance degrades or it stops responding, it's time to replace the AA battery. Follow the steps in the 'Setup Guide' to open the battery compartment and insert a new battery.
• Storing the USB Receiver: When not in use or during travel, always store the USB receiver in its dedicated slot inside the mouse's battery compartment to prevent loss.

Troubleshooting

• Mouse Not Responding:
  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB-A port on your computer.
  • Check the battery. Replace it if necessary.
  • The mouse may be in auto-sleep mode. Click any button to wake it up.
  • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port on your computer.
• Compatibility Issues:
  • MacBook Pro/Air 2021: This mouse requires a USB-A port. Newer MacBook Pro/Air models typically only have Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports. You may need a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
  • Chromebook/Acer/Lenovo Thinkpad: The mouse is fully compatible with these devices, provided they have a USB-A port.
  • Side Buttons on Mac OS: The forward and backward side buttons are not functional on Mac OS. This is a system limitation.
• Scrolling Issues:
  • If scrolling is erratic or jumps, you can adjust the scroll settings in your operating system. For Windows, go to 'Mouse settings' and change the 'number of lines to scroll at a time'.
  • You can also click the scroll wheel (middle button) to activate smooth scrolling mode, then move the mouse slightly up or down to scroll.
• Not a Bluetooth Mouse: The D-09 is a 2.4GHz wireless mouse and requires its dedicated USB receiver. It does not connect via Bluetooth.
• Audible Clicks: The left and right mouse buttons have an audible click. Other buttons may have a slight click. This is normal operation.
• No Unifying Receiver: Each D-09 mouse is paired with its specific USB receiver to prevent interference. A single unifying receiver for multiple devices is not supported.
