- Test Functionality: After installation, test the mechanical key, fingerprint sensor, and keypad to ensure smooth operation before closing the door.
Operating Instructions
1. Initial Setup and User Management
Upon first power-up, the lock will be in factory default mode. You will need to set an administrator fingerprint or code first.
- Adding Administrator Fingerprint: Press the 'Setting Button' (usually located on the inside handle). Follow the voice prompts to register your fingerprint multiple times until confirmed. This fingerprint will have administrative privileges.
- Adding User Fingerprints: Once an administrator is set, the administrator can add up to 100 user fingerprints. Access the setting menu via the administrator fingerprint and follow prompts to add new users.
- Adding User Codes: The lock supports up to 50 customizable digit codes. Access the setting menu via the administrator fingerprint/code and follow prompts to create new user codes (6-8 digits recommended).

2. Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
- Keypad Code Unlock: Enter your registered 6-8 digit code on the keypad, then press the '#' key. The lock will unlock if the code is correct.
- Mechanical Key Unlock: Insert the mechanical key into the keyhole located on the front handle and turn to unlock. This is a backup method for emergencies.

3. Advanced Features
- Anti-Peep Code: When entering your code, you can input random digits before or after your actual code to prevent others from guessing it. For example, if your code is 123456, you can enter 987123456012.
- Auto-Lock: The lock features an auto-lock function that engages after a set period (configurable in settings) once the door is closed.
- Passage Mode: This mode allows the door to remain unlocked for continuous access, useful for high-traffic periods. It can be activated and deactivated via the administrator settings.
- Silence Mode: This mode disables all sound prompts from the lock.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
The lock requires 4 AAA alkaline batteries. A low battery indicator will alert you when the batteries need replacement. It is recommended to replace all four batteries simultaneously with new ones.

2. Emergency Power
If the batteries completely drain before replacement, you can use a portable power bank connected to the Micro USB interface on the front handle for temporary power to unlock the door.

3. Cleaning
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. Replace batteries if low. If still unresponsive, use the mechanical key or emergency USB power.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try different angles or re-register your fingerprint if issues persist. The sensor area is 35% larger for improved recognition.
- Keypad not working: Ensure the keypad is clean. If the lock is completely unresponsive, check batteries.
- Lock does not engage/disengage properly: Verify that the latch is installed correctly and moves freely. Check for any obstructions in the door frame or strike plate.
- Accidental lockout: Always keep at least one mechanical key in a safe, accessible location outside the door for emergency access.
