The Toozey Automatic Pet Feeder is designed to provide reliable and scheduled feeding for your cats and small to medium-sized dogs. With its 6-liter capacity, programmable meal times, and clog-free design, it ensures your pet receives consistent nutrition even when you are away. The feeder also includes a voice recording feature to call your pet to meals and dual power supply options for uninterrupted operation.

Setup and Assembly

1. Unboxing and Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the main feeder unit, stainless steel bowl, bowl holder, rotary vane, transparent food bucket, desiccant bag, power adapter, and USB cable.

2. Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply: via USB cable or 3 x D batteries (not included). For optimal performance and backup, it is recommended to use both. The memory function retains settings during power outages.

3. Initial Assembly

1. Place the stainless steel bowl into the bowl holder.
2. Lift up the button on the feeder, place the rotary vane, and lock it into position.
3. Install the transparent grain bucket onto the main unit and lock the buttons on both sides.
4. Place the desiccant bag into the designated compartment in the lid to keep food fresh.
5. Close the lid securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Time and Meals

The feeder allows you to set up to 6 meals per day with up to 20 portions (approximately 200g / 7oz) per meal. Refer to the control panel for setting the current time and programming meal schedules.

2. Voice Recording

Record a personalized voice message of up to 10 seconds to call your pet to eat. This message can be played up to 5 times at each meal, making your pet feel comfortable and safe.

3. Manual Feeding

You can manually dispense food by pressing the appropriate button on the control panel. This is useful for immediate feeding or testing the dispenser.

4. Food Shortage Reminder

The transparent food storage box allows you to monitor food levels easily. A red indicator light will illuminate when food is low, prompting you to replenish it in a timely manner.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your pet feeder. The feed container, turntable, and stainless steel feeding bowl can be easily disassembled for cleaning.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Turn off the power and unplug the feeder.
2. Remove the transparent food bucket by unlocking the side buttons.
3. Lift up and rotate the button to remove the rotary vane.
4. Remove the stainless steel bowl from its holder.
5. Wash the stainless steel bowl, bowl holder, rotary vane, and grain bucket with soapy water. These parts can also be cleaned with a damp-dry cloth or by dishwasher.
6. Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the main machine unit with a damp-dry cloth. Do not soak the machine in water.
7. Ensure the infrared sensor area is clean for proper food detection.
8. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Troubleshooting

• Feeder not dispensing food: Check if the food bucket is empty. Ensure the rotary vane is correctly installed and not jammed. The feeder has an automatic anti-blocking system to prevent clogs.
• Indicator light is red: This indicates a food shortage or low battery. Replenish food or replace batteries as needed. The indicator will disappear within 60 seconds after the issue is resolved.
• Programming issues: If settings are incorrect, long press the "Setting" button for 2 seconds to enter setting mode and re-adjust. You can also long press "Setting" and "OK" buttons for 3 seconds to reset to factory default.
• Voice recording not playing: Ensure the recording was saved correctly. Check the playback settings to confirm the desired number of plays per meal.
