Maintenance
- Cleaning the Soleplate: The Diamond Ceramic-Flow Soleplate is designed for easy cleanup. For best results, clean the soleplate when it is cool. Use a damp cloth or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for iron soleplates.
- Water Tank: Empty the water tank after each use to prevent mineral buildup.
- Storage: Store the iron upright on its heel or in a safe, dry place.
Troubleshooting
- No Steam: Ensure the water tank is filled and the temperature dial is set to a steam-compatible fabric setting (e.g., Linen + Cotton). Allow sufficient time for the iron to heat up until the indicator light is solid green.
- Water Leaks/Dripping: The anti-drip system minimizes leaks. Ensure the iron has reached the correct temperature for steaming. If using steam at lower temperatures, dripping may occur.
- Iron Not Heating: Check if the iron is properly plugged into a working outlet. Verify the temperature dial is not set to the 'Off' position.
- Auto-Lift Not Engaging: Ensure the iron is placed on a flat, stable surface. The Auto-Lift mechanism activates when the handle is released.
