1. Important Safety Instructions

- Ash Temperature: Only vacuum cold ashes. Ash must be completely cold (below 140°F / 60°C) to prevent fire hazards. Always verify ash temperature before vacuuming.
- Filter Maintenance: Regularly clean or replace filters to maintain optimal performance and prevent motor damage.
- Power Source: Use only with the specified 20V rechargeable battery.
- General Use: This appliance is designed for household use to vacuum ash from fireplaces, pellet stoves, grills, pizza ovens, and fire pits. Do not use for any other purpose.

2. Package Contents

3. Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your ash vacuum:
- Attach Caster Wheels: Insert the four caster wheels into the designated slots on the base of the canister until they click securely into place.
- Install Filters: Ensure the dual HEPA filters are correctly seated within the motor head assembly. The cloth filter should be positioned first, followed by the pleated HEPA filter.
- Secure Motor Head: Place the motor head onto the stainless steel canister, aligning the clips. Secure the two metal clamps on the sides of the canister to lock the motor head in place.
- Connect Hose: Insert the metal-lined hose into the suction port on the front of the canister. Twist clockwise to secure.
- Attach Accessories: Connect the desired cleaning tool (brush tool, crevice tool, or extension wands) to the end of the hose.
- Charge Battery: Insert the 20V Lithium-Ion battery into the charger and plug the charger into a power outlet. Charge until the indicator light shows a full charge.
- Insert Battery: Once charged, insert the battery into the designated slot on the motor head.

4. Operation
Ensure the unit is fully assembled and the battery is charged before use.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the motor head to start the vacuum.
- Vacuuming Ash: Direct the chosen attachment (crevice tool for tight spaces, brush tool for surfaces, or extension wands for reach) towards the cold ash. Move the nozzle slowly to effectively pick up debris.
- Cordless Mobility: The 20V rechargeable battery provides cordless operation, allowing you to easily move the vacuum between different cleaning areas without being restricted by power outlets.
- Versatile Use: The Ash Vault Pro is designed for cleaning ash from fireplaces, pellet stoves, grills, pizza ovens, and fire pits.
- Power Off: Once cleaning is complete, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the vacuum.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum.
- Emptying Canister: Unlock the metal clamps and remove the motor head. Carefully lift the canister and dispose of the collected ash.
- Cleaning Filters: The dual HEPA filters should be cleaned regularly. Tap the pleated HEPA filter gently to dislodge ash. The cloth filter can be removed and shaken clean. For thorough cleaning, both filters can be washed with water and allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Hose and Attachments: Check the hose and attachments for any blockages or damage. Clear any obstructions to maintain suction power.
- Storage: Store the vacuum and its accessories in a dry, clean place away from extreme temperatures. The integrated storage for tools and hose helps keep everything organized.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Suction:
- Check if the hose is securely connected to the suction port.
- Ensure the filters are clean and not clogged with ash.
- Verify the canister is properly sealed and the clamps are locked.
- Check for blockages in the hose or attachments.
- Vacuum Not Turning On:
- Ensure the 20V battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
- Check the ON/OFF switch for proper engagement.
- Ash Escaping:
- Ensure both HEPA filters are correctly installed and clean.
- Verify the motor head is securely fastened to the canister.
