1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your caSino187 Charging Dock Home Base, Model ADI-N1. 2. Safety Information

4. Setup

1. Choose a Location: Place the charging dock on a hard, level surface against a wall. Ensure there is at least 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) of clear space on either side of the dock and 4 feet (1.2 meters) in front of it. Avoid placing it near stairs or heat sources.
2. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the back of the charging dock, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the dock should illuminate, confirming power.
3. Cable Management: Route any excess power cord neatly to prevent entanglement with the Roomba or other objects. The dock features integrated cable management channels on the back.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the charging dock is set up and powered, your iRobot Roomba J Series robot vacuum will automatically return to it to recharge its battery when needed. Ensure the Roomba's charging contacts align with the dock's contacts for proper charging.

• Initiating Charge: Manually place your Roomba onto the charging dock, ensuring the metal charging contacts on the robot align with those on the dock. The Roomba will emit a tone and its battery indicator will show it is charging.
• Automatic Return: During a cleaning cycle, if the Roomba's battery runs low, it will automatically navigate back to the charging dock to recharge. Once fully charged, it may resume cleaning (depending on its programming).
• Full Charge Indication: Refer to your Roomba's specific user manual for details on its battery indicator lights, which typically change color or pattern when fully charged.
