Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. It is recommended to watch the official tutorial video for visual guidance if available. Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the key fob is far away from the car to prevent accidental power-on or sensor errors.
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the key fob is placed far away from your car. Install the dash cam while sitting on the passenger seat; sitting on the driver's seat may cause a sensor error code.
- Remove the Back Cover: Gently use the provided pry tool to remove the original back cover near the rearview mirror.
- Remove the Big Cover: Push forward to detach the larger cover section.
- Locate the Rain Sensor Connector: Carefully find the 3-pin rain sensor connector. This connector can be difficult to locate, so look thoroughly.
- Connect the Y-Cable: Connect the provided Y-cable to the rain sensor connector. Ensure a secure connection. When pulling the original plug, put the wire over your index finger and pull upwards. DO NOT pull the plug with pliers, as this may cause damage.
- Install the Front Camera: Position and install the Fitcamx front camera unit into the designated slot.
- Install the Back Cover: Reattach the back cover, ensuring all clips are securely fastened.

Operating Instructions
Automatic Recording
The Fitcamx dash cam is designed to begin recording automatically when your car starts. There is no manual power button or recording initiation required for standard operation.
Loop Recording
The dash cam features continuous loop recording. When the included 64GB MicroSD card (supports up to 256GB) reaches its full capacity, the oldest unlocked video files will be automatically overwritten by new recordings. You can adjust the recording time segments (e.g., 1/3/5 minutes) within the FITCAMX APP settings.

G-Sensor Function
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts, rapid acceleration, or sharp braking. In the event of such an incident, the G-Sensor automatically locks the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures that critical event footage is preserved as evidence. Note: This dash cam does not include a parking mode feature.

FITCAMX APP Usage
The FITCAMX APP allows you to manage your dash cam settings, view live footage, and download recorded videos to your smartphone.
- Download the App: Search for "FITCAMX" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install it on your smartphone.
- Connect to WiFi: Turn on your dash cam (by starting your car). On your smartphone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network. The network name typically starts with "FITCAMX".
- Access Features: Open the FITCAMX APP. You can now view live video, browse recorded files, download videos to your phone, and adjust camera settings.
Important Note: Your phone cannot be connected to CarPlay/Bluetooth and the dash cam's WiFi simultaneously. If you experience issues with live preview, try turning off cellular data and Bluetooth on your phone while connected to the dash cam's WiFi.

Maintenance
- SD Card Management: Periodically format the MicroSD card (via the app or a computer) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.

- Temperature Range: The dash cam is designed to operate in temperatures from -20℃ to 85℃ (-4℉ to 185℉). Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside this range for extended periods.

- Q: Can I use CarPlay/Bluetooth when driving?
- A: Yes. Your phone cannot be connected to CarPlay/Bluetooth and the dash cam's WiFi simultaneously. However, the camera records automatically after the car starts, so you do not need to keep WiFi connected to the camera constantly. You can disconnect from the dash cam's WiFi to use CarPlay/Bluetooth and reconnect when you need to access footage or settings.
- Q: Can I add a rear camera if I already have a front camera?
- A: No, because the internal PCB boards are different for front-only and front+rear camera systems. If you wish to upgrade to a different video resolution or add a rear camera, you would need to replace the entire dash cam set.
- Q: The dash cam is not working or showing an ID.4 incompatibility issue.
- A: This issue often arises from not finding the correct plug during installation. Please refer to the installation tutorial video and the detailed steps in this manual carefully to ensure you locate and connect to the correct 3-pin rain sensor plug. If the issue persists, contact technical support.
