The eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 is an advanced outdoor security solution designed to provide comprehensive surveillance and illumination. 3. Setup

Installation of the eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 requires existing outdoor wiring and a junction box. Please ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.

To complete the setup process, download the eufy Security app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Floodlight Cam 2 to your Wi-Fi network. Note that the device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

4. Operating the Floodlight Cam 2

4.1 Live Stream and Recording

The Floodlight Cam 2 allows you to live-stream and record in full 2K HD resolution, providing clear and detailed visuals of your monitored area.

4.2 Floodlight Functionality

Equipped with 2,500-lumen super-bright motion-activated floodlights, the camera deters intruders and ensures detailed, full-color recordings even at night. The lights automatically activate when motion is detected.

4.3 AI Human Detection and Smart Siren

The built-in AI intelligently detects human motion, reducing false alarms. A high-volume alarm can be triggered automatically or manually to scare off unwanted visitors.

The Floodlight Cam 2 includes 4GB of built-in local storage for motion-triggered recordings, eliminating the need for monthly subscription fees. This capacity can store approximately 16 days of footage, assuming 30 video clips per day, each 1 minute in length.

• Can the floodlight camera record 24x7?
  No. The floodlight camera records motion-activated events. It has a longer detection range and supports a 10-second pre-buffer to ensure complete events are recorded.
• How does the 10s pre-buffer work?
  The floodlight camera stores a rolling 10 seconds of footage. When it detects an event, it starts recording and adds the previous 10 seconds to the beginning of the video.
• Does the floodlight camera support activity zones?
  Yes, the floodlight camera supports up to 2 activity zones. Users can set activity zones to exclude unnecessary event alerts or recording unnecessary footage.
• Does Floodlight Camera connect to eufyCam HomeBase?
  Yes, Floodlight Cam 2 is compatible with eufy HomeBase 3.
• Does the floodlight camera support Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant?
  Yes, the floodlight camera supports Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant.
• What’s the capacity of the internal storage? Can I upgrade it?
  The floodlight camera has 4GB local storage built-in for motion-triggered recordings. In the scenario of 30 video clips per day, 1 minute length per recording, the 4GB eMMC can store about 16 days of footage. The internal storage is not upgradeable.
• How to connect eufy Floodlight Cam 2 to Wi-Fi?
  Select eufy Floodlight Cam 2 through the eufy app, then follow the instructions to complete the setup. Please note that it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
• Video Quality and Frame Rate:
  The eufy Floodlight Cam 2 records in 2K resolution at 15 frames per second (FPS). This provides higher detail compared to some other cameras that might record at 1080p but at a higher frame rate (e.g., 30 FPS).
