1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.2 Power Connection

  1. Locate the power input port (X) on the rear panel of the mixer.
  2. Connect the provided charger to the power input.

  • Microphone Input (A): Connect microphones using XLR cables to the MIC inputs (1-8).
  • Line Input (B): Connect line-level instruments (keyboards, guitars with preamps) or other audio devices using 1/4" TRS/TS cables to the LINE inputs (1-8).
  • Stereo Input: Use the L/R Main Mix inputs for stereo sources.
  • Auxiliary Stereo Input (E): Connect additional auxiliary devices.
  • Main Outputs (L Main Out R): Connect your main speakers or power amplifier using XLR or 1/4" TRS cables.

2.4 Phantom Power (+48V)

The mixer provides +48V phantom power (R) for condenser microphones. Activate this only when using condenser microphones that require it. Ensure all connections are made before activating phantom power to prevent damage to non-phantom powered devices.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Channel Controls (Channels 1-8)

  • GAIN Control (C): Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set this to achieve a strong signal without clipping (indicated by the Peak Indicator (H)).

3.2 Main Mix and Monitoring

  • L Main R Faders: These control the overall output volume of the main stereo mix.
  • AUX SEND: Output for sending signals to external effects processors or monitor speakers.
  • EFFECTS (M): Controls for the built-in effects processor. The mixer features a delay effect.
  • Headphone Volume (S): Adjusts the volume for the headphone output.
  • PPL/AFL Power: LED indicators to show signal presence and clipping.

3.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

3.4 USB Playback and Recording

No phantom power

  • Ensure the +48V phantom power switch (R) is engaged.
  • Test with a different condenser microphone and XLR cable.
