3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow the steps carefully. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify all components and hardware are present against the parts list in your included manual.
2. Attach Legs: Securely attach the four furniture legs to the base of the chair using the provided screws and tools.
3. Connect Sections: Join the main chair section with the pull-out footrest mechanism. Ensure all brackets and fasteners are tightened.
4. Install USB Module: Connect the USB charging module to the designated port in the armrest and secure it. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
5. Place Cushions: Position the seat and back cushions. The throw pillow can be placed for additional comfort.

4. Operating Instructions

The chair offers multiple configurations for various needs.

4.1 Converting to Chaise Lounge:

• Locate the pull-out handle at the front base of the chair.
• Gently pull the footrest outwards until it fully extends and locks into place.
• Adjust the backrest to your desired reclining angle (110°, 140°, or 180°).

4.2 Converting to Bed:

• Extend the footrest as described for the chaise lounge.
• Push the backrest all the way back to the 180° flat position.

4.3 Using USB Ports and Cup Holders:

• The USB charging ports are located on the left armrest. Plug your device's USB cable into one of the ports.
• The cup holders are integrated into the armrests. Place your beverage securely in the holder.

4.4 Accessing Storage:

• To access the storage compartment, lift the top of the footrest section.
• Store pillows, blankets, or other items inside. Close securely after use.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life of your convertible chair bed.

• Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• General Care: Regularly vacuum the fabric to remove dust and debris. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.
• Mechanism Check: Periodically inspect the conversion mechanism for smooth operation and ensure all bolts remain tight.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Difficulty Converting: Ensure no obstructions are blocking the mechanism. Check that all assembly bolts are properly tightened.
• USB Ports Not Charging: Verify the power adapter is securely plugged into both the chair and a working wall outlet. Ensure your device's cable is functioning correctly. Note that some high-power devices may charge slowly.
• Unstable or Wobbly: Check all leg and frame connections. Tighten any loose bolts. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
