4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically takes approximately fifteen minutes. Follow the clear instructions provided in the package. Ensure all connections are secure before using the chair.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Do not fully tighten yet.
5. Attach Backrest to Armrests/Seat: Connect the backrest to the armrests and the seat cushion. Once all connections are aligned, tighten all screws for the armrests and backrest firmly.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

After assembly, test all functions to ensure proper operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side, underneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up and pull the lever up. Release the lever at the desired height to lock it in place.

5.2 Rocking Function and Tension Control

The chair features a rocking mode for relaxation. To activate the rocking function, pull the lever on the left side, underneath the seat, outwards. To stop rocking and lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever inwards.

The rocking tension can be adjusted using the round knob located underneath the seat, at the front of the mechanism. Turn the knob clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.3 Swivel and Mobility

The chair features a 360-degree swivel function, allowing for easy rotation. The smooth-rolling PU casters provide excellent mobility on various floor types, including hard floors and carpets, without causing noise or scratches.

• Chair Wobbles: Check all assembly screws and bolts, especially those connecting the seat to the mechanism and the armrests to the backrest. Tighten any loose connections. Ensure the base is fully seated on the gas lift.
• Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint, etc.). Clean them thoroughly. If still problematic, casters may need replacement.
• Squeaking Noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts, such as the mechanism springs or where the gas lift meets the base. Avoid lubricating the gas lift cylinder itself.
• Difficulty Adjusting Rocking Tension: Ensure the rocking lever is pulled out to enable rocking. Turn the tension knob fully in both directions to ensure it's not stuck.
