Installation Steps (General Overview):
- Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the wall surface is clean, stable, and capable of supporting the shower system. Turn off the main water supply.
- Mount S-connectors: Install the S-connectors to the water supply lines, ensuring they are level and at the correct distance for the mixer.
- Attach Mixer: Secure the thermostatic mixer to the S-connectors. Use the provided rosettes to cover the connections.
- Install Shower Rail: Mount the shower rail to the wall, ensuring it is plumb and securely fastened.
- Connect Overhead Shower: Attach the overhead shower to the top of the shower rail.
- Connect Hand Shower: Connect the shower hose to the mixer and the hand shower. Place the hand shower in its fixed holder on the rail.
- Test System: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check for leaks. Test both the overhead and hand showers for proper water flow and temperature control.

5. Operating Instructions
The Ceratherm T25 Shower System features two handles for precise control over water temperature and flow.
Temperature Control
The left handle (when facing the mixer) controls the water temperature. It is thermostatic, meaning it will maintain your desired temperature consistently.
- Adjusting Temperature: Rotate the handle to increase or decrease the water temperature. Markings (red for hot, blue for cold) indicate the direction of adjustment.
- 40°C Temperature Lock: For safety, there is a temperature lock at 40 degrees Celsius. To exceed this temperature, press the safety button on the handle while rotating it further.

Flow Control and Diverter
The right handle controls the water flow and acts as a switch unit to divert water between the overhead shower and the hand shower.
- Turning On/Off: Rotate the handle to turn the water flow on or off.
- Switching Between Showers: The handle also functions as a diverter. Rotate or pull/push the handle (depending on design) to switch water flow between the overhead shower and the hand shower.
- ECO Function: The mixer includes a water-saving position (ECO). This position reduces water flow, and you can override it by applying more force to the handle if full flow is desired.

Shower Functions
- Overhead Shower: Features a single rain jet type. The shower head is swivelling for adjustable angle.
- Hand Shower: A stick-style hand shower with a flow rate of 8 liters/min at 3 bar. It is held in a fixed shower holder.

6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower system.
- Cleaning the Surface: Use a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for bathroom fixtures. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or scouring agents, as these can damage the Silk Black finish.
- Anti-Limescale Function / EasyClean: The shower system is equipped with an anti-limescale function and EasyClean features. Regularly wipe the nozzles of the overhead and hand showers to remove any mineral deposits. For stubborn limescale, use a diluted solution of vinegar or a specialized limescale remover, following the product instructions carefully.
- Checking Connections: Periodically inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten connections if necessary, but do not overtighten.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower system, refer to the following general troubleshooting advice. For complex problems, contact a qualified plumber or Ideal Standard customer support.
- Low Water Flow: Check if the main water supply is fully open. Inspect shower heads and hand shower nozzles for limescale buildup and clean them. Ensure the ECO function is not engaged if full flow is desired.
- Inconsistent Water Temperature: Verify that the hot and cold water supplies are functioning correctly. Ensure the thermostatic mixer is properly calibrated (refer to installation instructions or a professional plumber).
- Leaks: Check all visible connections for tightness. If leaks persist, turn off the water supply and contact a professional.
- Difficulty Adjusting Temperature/Flow: Ensure handles are free from obstructions. If handles are stiff, professional inspection of the internal cartridge may be required.
