2. Important Safety Information

This product is intended to be used for normal domestic cleaning purposes only and the warranty applies to products used for domestic use only. Use in an upright position. Any other use is considered as improper use. A high pressure washer operates with different levels of pressure and cleaning detergents for various cleaning tasks and results. Always follow instructions on detergents for use, emergency and disposal. Do not operate the machine at temperatures below 0°C. Never start a frozen machine, never use it indoor and never cover it during use. This is considered improper and wrongful use. Use of wrongful pressure, detergent and/or applications may cause damage to machine, surfaces, material and devices. All of the above is considered improper and wrongful use. Nilfisk accepts no liability for any damage resulting from any improper or wrongful use.

4. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Nilfisk Core 150 pressure washer before first use:

1. Attach the Handle: Ensure the foldable handle is securely locked into its upright position.
2. Connect the High-Pressure Hose: Unwind the 10m ultraflex hose from the internal reel. Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the pressure washer's outlet and the other end to the G3 Gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3. Assemble the Lance and Nozzle: Attach the G3 Lance to the G3 Gun. Select the desired nozzle (Gentle or Rough) and securely attach it to the end of the G3 Lance. The nozzle user guide on the machine's body can assist in selecting the correct nozzle for your task.
4. Store Accessories: Utilize the integrated storage for the high-pressure lance, trigger gun, foam sprayer, and mains cable for convenient access and tidy storage.

5. Initial Setup and Connection

Before operating the pressure washer, ensure it is properly set up:

1. Water Supply: Connect a garden hose to the water inlet of the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris. It is recommended to use a standard garden hose with a minimum diameter of 1/2 inch (13 mm). Avoid using 'Aquastop' hose fittings as they can restrict water flow and cause operational issues.
2. Power Supply: Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) for safety.
3. Purge Air: Before starting the motor, turn on the water supply and squeeze the trigger gun to allow water to flow through the system until all air is purged and a steady stream of water emerges from the nozzle. This prevents air pockets from damaging the pump.

6. Operating Instructions

Your Nilfisk Core 150 is equipped with features for efficient and controlled cleaning.

6.1 Starting and Stopping

• To Start: Ensure water and power are connected. Turn the main switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start when the trigger gun is squeezed and stop automatically when released (Auto Start/Stop system).
• To Stop: Release the trigger gun. Turn the main switch to the 'OFF' position. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the power.

6.2 Power Control and Nozzle System

The Core 150 features a Power Control dial, allowing you to adjust pressure with a touch, and a versatile nozzle system.

• Power Control: Use the integrated power control dial to select the appropriate pressure level for your cleaning task. This allows for precise cleaning, from delicate surfaces to stubborn dirt.
• Gentle Nozzle: Ideal for sensitive surfaces such as vehicles, painted surfaces, and garden furniture. Provides a wider, less aggressive spray.
• Rough Nozzle: Designed for tougher cleaning tasks on hard surfaces like patios, driveways, and stone. Delivers a concentrated, powerful jet.

6.3 Using the Foam Sprayer

The included 450 ml foam sprayer is perfect for applying detergents and cleaning solutions.

1. Fill the foam sprayer with your desired pressure washer detergent.
2. Attach the foam sprayer to the G3 Gun.
3. Operate the pressure washer as usual. The foam sprayer will mix the detergent with the water, creating a rich foam for effective cleaning.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

• Nozzle Cleaning: If the nozzle becomes clogged, use the provided nozzle cleaning needle to clear any debris. Always disconnect the power and water supply before cleaning the nozzle.
• Hose Reel: After each use, carefully wind the 10m ultraflex hose back onto the internal hose reel to prevent kinks and damage.
• General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the pressure washer with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Winter Storage: If storing the unit in an area where temperatures may drop below 0°C, ensure all water is drained from the pump and hoses to prevent freezing and damage. Consider using a pump protector solution.
