Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not connecting wirelessly:
Ensure the keyboard is charged. Verify the 2.4GHz receiver is properly plugged in or that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the correct channel (FN+Q/W/E) is selected. Try restarting the keyboard and your device.
  • Keys not responding or double-typing:
Check if any debris is under the keycap or switch. If using hot-swappable switches, ensure the switch is fully seated and its pins are not bent. Try replacing the switch if the issue persists.
  • RGB backlighting not working or inconsistent:
Ensure the brightness is not set to the lowest level or turned off (FN+Up/Down Arrow). Check the software settings for any custom profiles that might override default lighting.
  • Software customization issues:
Ensure the software is the latest version from the official HITIME website. Restart the software and keyboard. Some advanced features like FN layer editing may not be supported on all models or software versions.
  • Short battery life:
Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. High brightness RGB settings can consume more power. Consider reducing brightness or turning off RGB when not needed.
