This device is designed to provide accurate, real-time measurements of indoor temperature and humidity, along with a clock function. Its compact design allows for versatile placement, either on a desktop or mounted on a wall. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your device.
2. Product Overview

2.2 Components
The HTC-1 unit consists of a main display, control buttons, a battery compartment, and an integrated desktop stand/wall mount hole.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
- Insert one AAA battery (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

3.2 Placement
- Desktop Stand: Extend the integrated stand on the back of the unit to place it upright on any flat surface.
- Wall Mount: Use the hanging hole on the back of the unit to mount it on a wall using a nail or screw (not included).
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Readings
Upon battery installation, the device will automatically display the current temperature, humidity, and time. The temperature is typically shown in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), humidity as a percentage (%), and time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
4.2 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
Press the "MODE" button once to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
4.3 Setting Time and Date
- Press and hold the "MODE" button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will start flashing.
- Press the "ADJ" button to adjust the hour.
- Press "MODE" again to move to minute setting. Press "ADJ" to adjust minutes.
- Continue pressing "MODE" to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with the "ADJ" button.
- After setting the day, press "MODE" one last time to exit the setting mode.
4.4 MAX/MIN Temperature and Humidity Memory
Press the "MEMORY" button to display the maximum recorded temperature and humidity since the last reset. Press it again to display the minimum recorded values. Press a third time to return to current readings. To clear the MAX/MIN records, press and hold the "MEMORY" button for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN values are displayed.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the device, simply wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
5.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the readings are inconsistent, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display / Blank Screen:
- Check if the battery is installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace with a new AAA battery.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the device is placed in a stable environment, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or strong drafts that could affect readings.
- Allow the device to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after initial setup or relocation.
- Verify that the air vents on the device are not obstructed.
- Buttons Not Responding:
- Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a soft reset.
- Ensure the battery has sufficient power.
