Setup & Installation
Please ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any steps.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Hole Saw (6.2-6.5 inches recommended)
- Measuring Tape
- Pencil
- Wire Strippers
- Screwdriver
Installation Steps:
- Cut a Hole: Use the provided cut hole template to mark the desired location on your ceiling. Using a 6.2-6.5 inch hole saw, carefully cut the opening. Ensure there are no obstructions (like joists) in the ceiling space.
- Prepare Wiring: Open the junction box cover. Remove the appropriate knockout for your electrical wiring. Feed the electrical supply wires (Live, Neutral, Ground) into the junction box.
- Connect Wires: Using the included wire nuts, connect the house wiring to the corresponding wires in the junction box (Black to Black, White to White, Green/Bare to Green/Bare). Secure all connections.
- Connect Light to Driver: Connect the male connector from the recessed light fixture to the female connector extending from the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
- Mount the Light: Gently push the junction box into the ceiling hole. Then, push the recessed light fixture into the hole. The spring-loaded clips on the sides of the light will automatically secure it to the ceiling.
