This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, use, maintenance, and care of your PORAL 8 Person Instant Tent. Please read this manual thoroughly before attempting to set up or use the tent to ensure safety and optimal performance. Retain this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from this tent fabric. The tent fabric is not fireproof. It is made with fire-resistant fabric which meets CPAI-84 specifications. However, it can burn if left in continuous contact with any flame source.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent suffocation. Do not use fuel-burning devices inside the tent.
- Weather Conditions: Avoid setting up the tent under trees with dead branches. In strong winds or heavy rain, ensure the tent is securely staked and guy lines are properly tensioned.
- Children: Keep children away from the tent during setup and takedown.
- Site Selection: Choose a level, clear area free of sharp objects and debris. Avoid setting up in flood-prone areas.
3. Package Contents

4. Setup Instructions
The PORAL 8 Person Instant Tent features a pre-assembled frame for quick and easy setup.
- Unpack the Tent: Remove the tent from its carry bag and lay it flat on your chosen campsite. Ensure the tent is fully spread out with the door facing the desired direction.
- Extend the Poles: Locate the pre-attached poles. Grasp each pole section and extend it outwards until it locks into place. Work your way around the tent, extending all poles.
- Lift the Tent: Once all poles are extended, lift the center of the tent and push upwards. The instant frame mechanism will cause the tent to pop up into its full shape.
- Secure the Tent: Stake down all four corners of the tent to the ground using the provided steel stakes. For added stability, attach and tension the guy lines (if included) to the designated loops on the tent body and stake them down.
- Attach the Rainfly: Drape the rainfly over the tent, aligning the door and window openings. Secure the rainfly to the tent body using the attached buckles or ties. Insert the fiberglass rainfly pole into its sleeve on the rainfly to create a small awning over the door.

5. Operating Features
5.1 Ventilation and Windows
The tent features 5 large mesh windows and a mesh tent top for optimal airflow and visibility. Zippers allow for opening and closing window covers for privacy and weather protection.

5.2 D-Style Door
The large D-style door can be rolled up and secured to keep the entrance open, providing an unobstructed view and easy access.

5.3 Interior Features
- Storage Pockets: Several mesh pockets are located on the side walls for organizing small items.
- Gear Loft: A gear loft is positioned at the top of the tent for lightweight storage.
- Carabiner Clip: A carabiner clip is provided for hanging a lamp or other accessories.
- E-Port: A zippered access port allows for electrical cord entry.
- Detachable Mud Mat: A mat for placing slippers or dirty items is included near the entrance.

6. Takedown Instructions
- Remove Rainfly and Accessories: Detach the rainfly and any accessories (gear loft, mud mat). Clean and dry them thoroughly.
- Remove Stakes: Remove all stakes from the ground and clean them.
- Collapse Poles: Locate the release buttons or mechanisms on each pole section. Press the buttons and push the poles inwards to collapse the frame. Work systematically around the tent.
- Fold the Tent: Once the frame is fully collapsed, fold the tent body neatly into a rectangular shape, roughly the size of the carry bag.
- Pack Away: Place the folded tent body, rainfly, stakes, and other components into the carry bag. Ensure all items are dry before packing to prevent mildew.

7. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Clean the tent with a soft sponge and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or washing machines. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Always ensure the tent and all components are completely dry before packing away to prevent mildew and fabric degradation. Air dry in a shaded area.
- Storage: Store the tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Waterproofing: Over time, the water-resistant coating may degrade. Reapply a suitable tent waterproofing spray as needed to maintain performance.
- Zippers: Keep zippers clean and free of debris. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if they become stiff.

8. Troubleshooting
