  • A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
  • Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar materials.
  • Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
  • Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.

4. Setup and First Use

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels or stickers from your oven.
  2. Place the oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides of the oven for proper ventilation.
  3. Do not place anything on top of the oven.

Before First Use

  1. Wash the Air Fryer Basket, Baking Pan, and Oven Rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth.
  3. Plug the oven into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
  4. To eliminate any manufacturing oils, operate the oven on the "Bake" function at 450°F (230°C) for approximately 10 minutes. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.

The Cuisinart Compact Air Fryer Toaster Oven features three control dials for easy operation: Function, Temperature, and Toast Shade.

Functions Overview

This appliance offers 6 cooking functions:

  • Air Fry: Ideal for achieving crispy results with little to no oil. Use with the Air Fryer Basket.

  3. Select Function: Turn the left dial to select your desired cooking function (Air Fry, Bake, Broil, Pizza, Warm).
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the middle dial to set the desired temperature (Warm to 450°F).
  5. Set Toast Shade (if applicable): If using the Toast function, turn the right dial to select your preferred toast shade (Light, Medium, Dark).
  6. Start Cooking: The oven will begin heating once the function and temperature are set. For Toast, the oven will automatically turn off when the cycle is complete. For other functions, you will need to manually turn the function dial to "OFF" when cooking is finished.
