Setup Guide

1. Guitar Preparation

1. Unpack the Guitar: Carefully remove the guitar from its packaging and gig bag. Inspect for any visible damage.
2. Attach the Strap: Secure the guitar strap to the strap buttons located on the body of the guitar. One button is typically near the neck joint, and the other at the bottom of the guitar body.
3. Install the Tremolo Arm: Screw the tremolo arm into the bridge system on the guitar body. Turn clockwise until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
4. Tuning the Guitar: Use a digital tuner (not included) to tune the guitar strings to standard E-A-D-G-B-e (from thickest to thinnest string). New strings may require frequent re-tuning initially.

2. Amplifier Setup

1. Placement: Place the 20W amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the amplifier.

• Humbucker-Single-Humbucker (HSH) Pickups: This guitar features a versatile HSH pickup configuration (Humbucker at neck, Single-coil in middle, Humbucker at bridge).
• 5-Way Pickup Selector Switch: This switch allows you to select different pickup combinations for various tonal options:
  Position 1 (Bridge): Activates the bridge humbucker for a bright, powerful tone.
  Position 2 (Bridge + Middle): Combines the bridge humbucker and middle single-coil for a balanced, slightly scooped sound.
  Position 3 (Middle): Activates the middle single-coil for a clear, articulate tone.
  Position 4 (Middle + Neck): Combines the middle single-coil and neck humbucker for a warm, full sound.
  Position 5 (Neck): Activates the neck humbucker for a warm, smooth tone, ideal for lead playing.
• Volume Knob: Controls the overall output volume of the guitar. Turn clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Tone Knob: Adjusts the treble frequencies. Turn clockwise for a brighter sound, counter-clockwise for a warmer, darker tone.
• Tremolo System: The tremolo arm allows you to bend the pitch of notes up or down, creating vibrato effects.

Amplifier Controls

• Power Switch: Turns the amplifier ON/OFF. Always turn the volume down before powering on or off.
• Input (1/4" Jack): Connect your guitar here using the instrument cable.
