4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Adjusting Retention

The magazine carrier features adjustable retention to ensure your magazine is held securely. Use the included Allen key to tighten or loosen the retention screw located on the side of the carrier. Insert your magazine and adjust until the desired level of retention is achieved, allowing for a secure hold while permitting a smooth draw.

4.2. Adjusting Carry Angle (Cant)

The carry angle, or cant, can be adjusted from -5° to 20°. This allows you to customize the orientation of the magazine for comfortable access. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws on the belt clip, adjust the clip to your preferred angle, and then re-tighten the screws securely.

4.3. Attaching to Belt

The 1.5" belt clip is designed for secure attachment to your belt. For IWB carry, slide the clip over your waistband and belt. For OWB carry, simply clip it onto your belt. The integrated hook on the bottom of the clip helps to keep the carrier firmly in place during drawing and movement.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Inserting Magazine

With the retention adjusted to your preference, firmly push the magazine into the carrier until it is fully seated. A slight click or firm resistance indicates proper seating.

5.2. Drawing Magazine

To draw the magazine, grip it firmly and pull upwards with a smooth, consistent motion. The adjustable retention ensures a secure hold while allowing for a quick and efficient draw when needed.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

To clean your Kydex magazine carrier, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the Kydex. Ensure the carrier is completely dry before re-inserting a magazine.

6.2. Inspection

Periodically inspect all screws and the belt clip for tightness and wear. Re-tighten any loose screws to maintain optimal performance and safety. Replace the carrier if any significant damage or wear is observed.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Magazine Too Loose or Too Tight

If the magazine feels too loose or too tight, refer to Section 4.1 (Adjusting Retention) to fine-tune the tension screw with the provided Allen key.

7.2. Difficulty Attaching to Belt

Ensure your belt is no wider than 1.5 inches for proper fit with the belt clip. If the clip is still difficult to attach, check for any obstructions or damage to the clip mechanism.
