Setup
1. Battery Installation
Install the two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into the handset. Ensure correct polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment.

2. Connecting the Base Station
- Connect the power adapter to the base station and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Connect the telephone line cord (RJ11) to the base station and then to your telephone wall socket.

3. Charging the Handset
Place the handset on the base station. The handset will begin charging. For optimal battery performance, charge the handset for at least 16 hours before its first use.

4. Initial Setup (Date, Time, Language)

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Press the Off-hook/Call button, then dial the number.
- To Receive a Call: Press the Off-hook/Call button when the phone rings.
- To End a Call: Press the On-hook/End Call button or place the handset back on the base.
Hands-Free Function
During a call, press the Hands-free button to activate the speakerphone. Press it again to switch back to handset mode. The volume can be adjusted using the navigation keys during a hands-free call.
Answering Machine
The integrated answering machine has a recording capacity of approximately 14 minutes.
- Activating/Deactivating: Access the answering machine menu via the handset or the base station controls.
