5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Rotate the function dial from the "OFF" position to any desired measurement function to turn the meter ON. Rotate the dial back to "OFF" to power down the meter.
5.2 AC Current Measurement (Clamp Function)
To measure AC current, use the clamp jaws. This method allows measurement without breaking the circuit.
- Rotate the function dial to the AC current (A~) range.
- Press the clamp trigger to open the jaws.
- Enclose only one conductor (live or neutral) within the clamp jaws. Do not clamp around multiple conductors or an entire power cord, as this will result in an inaccurate zero reading.

5.3 DC Voltage Measurement
To measure DC voltage:
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 4.2.
- Rotate the function dial to the DC voltage (V=) range.
- Connect the red test lead to the positive (+) side of the circuit and the black test lead to the negative (-) side.
- Read the DC voltage value on the display. The meter supports measurements from 600mV to 1000V DC.

5.4 Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection
