1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, or injury, this product must be used in accordance with the following instructions.

  • Read all instructions before using this blanket.
  • Do not use with an infant, a child, an invalid, or any person insensitive to heat, such as a person with poor blood circulation.
  • Do not use on a person who cannot operate the controls properly.
  • Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, do not use the blanket. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Do not use this blanket in conjunction with another heating pad or blanket.
  • Do not tuck in the blanket, pinch it, or fold it tightly. Avoid placing heavy objects on the blanket when in use.
  • Do not use for pet warming.
  • Do not dry clean this product. Cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element.
  • Always unplug the blanket from the electrical outlet when not in use.
  • The blanket features a built-in overheating protection mechanism to prevent risks. However, always ensure proper ventilation and avoid covering the controller.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the electric blanket and controller from its packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the blanket and power cord for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Connect Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket and firmly plug the controller's cord into it. Ensure a secure connection.
  4. Position Blanket: Lay the blanket flat on your bed or desired surface. Ensure it is not folded, bunched, or tucked in tightly, as this can cause overheating in specific areas.
  5. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Controller Functions

  • Power Button (SET): Press to turn the blanket ON or OFF.
  • '+' Button: Increases the heating level.
  • '-' Button: Decreases the heating level.

5.2 Adjusting Heat Levels

The blanket offers 6 heating levels, ranging from approximately 89°F to 113°F (31.6°C to 45°C).

  1. Press the SET button to turn on the blanket. The display will show the current heat setting.
  2. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select your desired heat level (1-6).
  3. The blanket will begin to heat up. Allow a few minutes for the blanket to reach the selected temperature.

5.3 Automatic Shut-Off

For safety and energy conservation, the blanket is equipped with a 10-hour automatic shut-off timer. After 10 hours of continuous operation, the blanket will automatically turn off. To resume heating, simply press the SET button to turn it back on.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your electric blanket. Always follow these instructions carefully.

6.1 Before Cleaning

  • Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Disconnect the controller from the blanket by gently pulling the connector. Do not force it.
  • Ensure the controller and power cord do not get wet.

6.2 Machine Washing

The blanket is machine washable. Follow these steps:

  1. Pre-soak the blanket for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water.
  2. Wash on the gentle or delicate cycle in a washing machine for 2 minutes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly in fresh, cool water.
  4. Spin dry in the washing machine for 5 minutes to remove excess water.

6.3 Drying

  • Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on a low heat setting for approximately 5-10 minutes. Remove while still damp.
  • Line Dry: Drape the blanket over a clothesline or shower rod. Do not use clothespins on the heating wires.
  • Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and plugging it in.
  • Do not iron the blanket.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your CURECURE Heated Electric Blanket, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
