This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of your KTNNKG Waterproof Remote Control Power Switch. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.

Safety Information

WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Always disconnect power before installation or servicing.

  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the product's specifications (AC 90-250V).
  • Do not exceed the maximum load current of 30 Amps. For continuous use, 70% of the maximum load is recommended.
  • Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician if you are unsure about electrical wiring.
  • Keep the remote control dry and away from extreme temperatures.
  • The product is IP68 waterproof, but ensure all connections are properly sealed during installation to maintain water resistance.
  • Do not open the main switch unit. Refer to qualified personnel for repairs.

Setup and Installation

  1. Power Disconnection: Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply to the area where the switch will be installed is completely disconnected at the circuit breaker.
  2. Mounting the Switch Unit:

    The switch unit is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Mount it in a secure location where it is protected from physical damage and where its input and output cables can be easily connected to your devices.

  3. Connecting Power:

    Connect the input plug of the switch unit to a suitable AC 90-250V power outlet. Ensure the outlet is rated for the intended load.

  4. Connecting Device:

    Plug the device you wish to control into the output receptacle of the switch unit. Ensure the device's power requirements do not exceed the switch's maximum load capacity (30A, 2200W in US / 4400W in EU).

  5. Remote Control Battery Installation:

    Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert one 9V DC battery, observing the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

  6. Power Restoration: Once all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

The KTNNKG Remote Control Power Switch operates with a simple two-button remote control.

  • Turning ON: Press button A on the remote control to turn on the connected device.
  • Turning OFF: Press button B on the remote control to turn off the connected device.

Default OFF Program: In the event of a power failure, the switch is designed to default to the "OFF" state when power is restored. This prevents unintended activation of connected devices.

Long Range Operation: The remote control offers a working distance of 500-1000 meters in open areas. Its strong RF signal can reliably transmit through walls, floors, and even closed metal doors, making it suitable for controlling hard-to-reach devices or those in different areas of your property.

Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect the switch unit and cables for any signs of damage or wear.
  • Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Replace the 9V battery in the remote control when its range decreases or it stops responding.
  • Ensure the rubber cover lip on the sockets is properly seated to maintain IP68 waterproof rating.

Troubleshooting
