5. Maintenance and Care

5.1. Water Resistance

This watch is rated 50M (5ATM/150FT) water resistant, suitable for daily use such as splashes, rain, and hand washing. It is not recommended for showering, bathing, sauna, or diving, especially in hot water, as steam and temperature changes can compromise the seals. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

5.2. Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and silicone band with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the watch's finish or seals.

5.3. Battery Replacement

The watch uses a standard watch battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

5.4. Storage

Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prolong its lifespan.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
  • Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the instructions in Section 3. Ensure the 12/24 hour format is correctly set.
  • Water inside the watch: Despite its water resistance, improper use (e.g., operating buttons underwater, exposure to hot water) can lead to water ingress. Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and drying to prevent further damage.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Check for dirt or debris around the buttons. If the issue persists, the internal mechanism may be faulty.
