4. Setup & Assembly

Step 4.2: Assemble the Main Bed Frame

  1. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten initially.
  2. Once the frame is assembled, gently tighten all bolts.

Step 4.3: Install Main Bed Slats

  1. Place the main bed slats evenly across the support beams of the main bed frame.

Step 4.4: Assemble the Trundle Frame

Step 4.5: Install Trundle Slats

  2. Secure the slats as instructed to ensure a stable base for the mattress.

Step 4.6: Position the Trundle

Slide the assembled trundle under the main bed frame. The trundle can be positioned on either the right or left side of the main bed.

5. Operating Instructions

Using the Adjustable Trundle

The Merax platform bed features an adjustable trundle designed for convenience and space-saving.

  1. To Extend the Trundle: Gently pull the trundle frame out from under the main bed. The wheels will facilitate smooth movement.
  2. To Raise the Trundle: The trundle is equipped with a bracket mechanism that allows it to be raised to the same height as the main bed. Locate the bracket(s) and lift the trundle until the bracket locks into place. Ensure it is securely locked before use.
  3. To Lower the Trundle: Disengage the locking mechanism of the bracket(s) and gently lower the trundle back to its lower position.
  4. To Store the Trundle: Once lowered, push the trundle back under the main bed frame until it is fully concealed.

6. Maintenance
