3. Setup Guide
3.1 Hardware Installation
- Attach the Antennas: Screw the two detachable external 4G LTE antennas firmly into the connectors on the back of the router. Ensure they are securely tightened for optimal signal reception.

Figure 2: Attaching the external antennas to the router's rear ports.
- Insert the SIM Card: Before inserting, ensure the PIN code of your 4G SIM card is disabled. Use the provided Nano or Micro SIM card adapter if your SIM card is smaller than the standard size. Insert the SIM card into the designated SIM card slot on the router until it clicks into place.

3.2 Initial Configuration
- Connect to Wi-Fi: On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select the network name (SSID) printed on the label at the bottom of your router (e.g., "ioGiant_XXXXXX") and enter the default Wi-Fi password (Key) also found on the label.
- Access Web Management Interface: Open a web browser and enter the default IP address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the address bar. Log in using the default username and password (typically "admin" for both, check the router label or quick installation guide).
- Configure APN Settings: The router should automatically identify APN information for most operators. However, if you experience no internet access, you may need to manually configure the APN settings.
- Verify the APN information with your mobile carrier.
- Log into the router's web interface and navigate to the network settings to enter the APN information manually.

Figure 5: The router is compatible with most UK mobile operators, including Vodafone, Three, EE, O2, Smarty, and others.
- IPv4/IPv6 Compatibility: Ensure that all your connected devices are compatible with IPv6 if your carrier provides an automatic update from IPv4 to IPv6. If not, configure the router to use only IPv4.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Wi-Fi Connectivity
The ioGiant AC1200 4G Router creates a dual-band Wi-Fi network, offering speeds of 867Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. This allows for flexible connectivity for various devices.
- 2.4GHz Band: Ideal for wider coverage and connecting older devices or those that do not require high bandwidth, such as smart home devices.
- 5GHz Band: Provides faster speeds and lower latency, suitable for online gaming, HD video streaming, and other bandwidth-intensive applications.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the router with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Antenna Care: Ensure antennas are always securely attached and positioned for optimal signal. Avoid bending or forcing them.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website or the router's web management interface for available firmware updates. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and compatibility.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure your SIM card's PIN code is disabled.
- Verify the APN settings in the router's web interface match your carrier's settings.
- Check if your devices are compatible with IPv6 if your carrier has updated to it; otherwise, configure the router for IPv4 only.
- Confirm that the 4G signal strength is adequate in your location.
- Weak Wi-Fi Signal or Slow Speeds:
- Reposition the router to a central location, away from obstructions and other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Adjust the external antennas for better reception.
- Consider using an external antenna system if you are in an area with consistently poor mobile signal (requires compatible SMA connectors).
- Cannot Access Web Management Interface:
- Ensure your device is connected to the router's Wi-Fi or via an Ethernet cable.
- Double-check the IP address entered in the browser.
- Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.
- If all else fails, perform a factory reset (refer to the Quick Installation Guide for instructions), but note this will erase all custom settings.
