Introduction

The Delleson Mini DVD Player (Model: DL-DVP Mini) is an ultra-compact and portable entertainment device designed for versatile media playback. Its slim profile and lightweight construction make it ideal for use in various settings, from home entertainment systems to on-the-go travel. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your new DVD player.

Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the DVD player and plug it into a power outlet. The player can also be powered via a power bank or car charger using a compatible USB cable (not included).

2. Connecting to a TV or Projector

Your Delleson Mini DVD Player offers two primary connection methods:

HDMI Connection (Recommended for HD Quality)

  1. Locate the HDMI OUT port on the back of the DVD player.
  2. Connect one end of the supplied HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player.
  3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI IN port on your TV or projector.
  4. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV/projector using its remote control.

RCA (AV) Connection (for Traditional TVs)

  1. Locate the AV OUT port on the back of the DVD player.
  2. Connect the supplied RCA cable to the AV OUT port on the DVD player.
  3. Connect the red, white, and yellow plugs of the RCA cable to the corresponding color-coded AV IN ports on your TV.
  4. Select the corresponding AV input on your TV using its remote control.

Operating Instructions

1. Disc Playback

  1. Open the disc cover on the top of the DVD player.
  2. Carefully place a compatible disc (CD, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD, SVCD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the disc cover. The player will automatically begin reading the disc.
  4. Use the remote control to navigate menus, play, pause, stop, skip tracks/chapters, and adjust volume.

2. USB Media Playback

The DVD player supports playback of media files from a USB flash drive.

  1. Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port on the side of the DVD player.
  2. The player will detect the USB drive and display its contents.
  3. Navigate through your files using the remote control and select the desired picture, audio, or video file (AVI/MPG/MPEG4/VOB formats supported) to play.

3. Breakpoint Memory Function

The Delleson Mini DVD Player features a convenient breakpoint memory function. If playback is stopped or the player is powered off, it will automatically resume from the exact position where it left off when the disc is re-inserted or the player is turned back on. This feature is particularly useful for enjoying movies or shows without losing your place.

4. Region Free Playback

This DVD player is designed to be region-free, meaning it can play DVDs and CDs from any region worldwide. This eliminates compatibility issues often encountered with region-locked players, providing greater flexibility for your media collection.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DVD player.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the player. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials. For the disc lens, use a specialized DVD lens cleaner disc.
  • Disc Care: Handle discs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of dust, fingerprints, and scratches. Store discs in their cases when not in use.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power adapter and store the player in a cool, dry place.
