1. Introduction

This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your NEXPOW Q10S Car Jump Starter. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

The NEXPOW Q10S Car Jump Starter is a portable lithium battery booster designed to start 12V vehicles with up to 7.0L Gas and 5.5L Diesel engines. It also functions as a power bank for mobile devices and features an LED flashlight.

2. Safety Precautions

Always observe the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the product and vehicle:

  • Ensure the jump starter is charged above 50% before use.
  • Do not attempt to jump start a car under load conditions.
  • Avoid short-circuiting the smart jump cables.
  • Do not expose the product to high temperatures or store it in high-temperature environments for extended periods. Operating and storage temperature range: -10℉ to 60℉.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific jump-starting procedures.

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the NEXPOW Q10S jump starter. Connect the included USB Type-C charging cable to the jump starter and a compatible USB wall charger (not included). The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.

4.2 Maintaining Charge

If the jump starter is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it every 2-3 months to maintain battery health.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps to safely jump start your vehicle:

  1. Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge.
  2. Insert the smart jump cable into the booster's port.
  3. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal.
  4. Once the indicator on the smart cable turns green, start your car engine.
  5. After the car starts, immediately remove the smart jump cable from the vehicle battery, then from the jump starter.

5.2 Using as a Power Bank

The Q10S features two USB outputs (5V/3A and 5V/2.1A) and a Quick Charge 3.0 USB port for charging mobile devices. It also has a 12V-16V/10A DC port for other car accessories.

5.3 LED Flashlight Modes

The built-in LED flashlight has three modes:

  • Flash Light: Long press the power button.
  • SOS Light: Short press the power button after activating flash light mode.
  • Strobe Light: Short press the power button again after SOS mode.

7. Maintenance and Storage

  • Regularly check the charge level and recharge every 2-3 months if not in use.
  • Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place within the recommended operating and storage temperature range (-10℉ to 60℉).
  • Keep the unit clean and free from dust and debris.

8. Troubleshooting
