1. Introduction

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation

1. Turn off power: Locate the main power supply at the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the junction box where the fixture will be installed.
2. Unpack contents: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and place them on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
3. Review dimensions: Refer to the dimensional drawing to ensure the fixture size is appropriate for your space.

5.2 Mounting the Fixture

1. Attach the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.
2. Determine the desired hanging height for the fixture. Adjust the chain (D) length by removing links as needed.
3. Thread the fixture wires through the chain and canopy (C).
4. Connect the fixture's ground wire (bare copper or green) to the ground wire from the junction box (usually bare copper or green) and to the ground screw on the mounting plate. Secure with a wire nut.
5. Connect the fixture's neutral wire (white) to the neutral wire from the junction box (white). Secure with a wire nut.
6. Connect the fixture's hot wire (black) to the hot wire from the junction box (black). Secure with a wire nut.
7. Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
8. Raise the canopy (C) to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting plate using the canopy screws.

5.3 Attaching Shades and Bulbs

1. Carefully place each clear seeded glass shade (E) over the bulb sockets on the fixture body (A). Secure them in place according to the fixture design (e.g., by twisting or using retaining rings).
2. Insert four (4) 60-watt maximum candelabra base (E12) B10 bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed the recommended wattage.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installation is complete and all connections are secure:

1. Restore power to the junction box at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Turn on the wall switch connected to the fixture.
3. This fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch (both sold separately).

7.1 Cleaning

• Always disconnect power before cleaning the fixture.
• To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
