2.2 Ink Cartridge Installation

The Canon PIXMA E4570 uses PG-47 (Black) and CL-57s (Color) ink cartridges.

  1. Open the printer's front cover to access the cartridge installation area.
  2. Remove the new ink cartridges from their packaging.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Printing

  • Load paper into the input tray. The maximum input sheet capacity is 100 sheets (A4).

3.4 Copying Documents

You can make copies directly from the printer's control panel.

  • Place the document on the flatbed or in the ADF.
  • Use the 5.2cm LCD display and navigation buttons to select "Copy".
  • Adjust settings like number of copies (up to 99), copy quality, and zoom (if available).

  2. Open the front cover. The print head holder will move to the replacement position.
  3. Press down on the empty cartridge to release it, then pull it out.
  4. Unpack a new cartridge and remove the protective tape.
  5. Insert the new cartridge firmly into its slot until it clicks.
  6. Close the front cover.

4.3 Print Head Alignment and Nozzle Check

If print quality degrades (e.g., blurry text, incorrect colors), perform print head alignment and nozzle check from the printer's utility software.

  • Access the printer properties or preferences on your computer.
