1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Storage: Do not leave the canister in the burner when the stove is not in use. Always remove the canister before storage.

  • Control Knob Position: If the adjustable dial isn't in the off position, the user will not be able to lock the canister into place. Always ensure the dial is in the OFF position before attempting to lock the canister.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Gas One Portable Butane Gas Stove:

  1. Placement: Place the stove on a flat, stable, and non-combustible surface outdoors. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  2. Check Controls: Verify that the control knob is in the "OFF" position and the fuel lock lever is in the "UNLOCK" position.
  3. Open Canister Cover: Open the side cover of the fuel canister compartment.
  4. Insert Canister: Align the tip of the 8 oz butane fuel canister with the regulator notch inside the canister compartment. Slide the canister into place.
  5. Lock Canister: Push the fuel lock lever down to the "LOCK" position. This secures the canister and connects it to the stove. If the control dial is not in the OFF position, the canister will not lock.
  6. Close Cover: Close the fuel canister compartment cover.

6. Operating Instructions

To light and use your stove:

  1. Ignition: Turn the control knob counter-clockwise towards the "IGNITION" position until you hear a click. This indicates the piezo-electric igniter has sparked, lighting the burner.
  2. Adjust Flame: Once lit, continue turning the control knob to adjust the flame to your desired heat level (Min to Max).
  3. Turning Off: To turn off the burner, turn the control knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
  4. Extinguish Flame: Wait until the flame is completely extinguished.
  5. Remove Canister: Raise the fuel lock lever to the "UNLOCK" position to release the butane canister. Carefully remove the canister from the compartment.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your stove:

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the stove is completely cool. Remove the pot support and burner head. Clean any food residue or spills from the stove body and burner components using a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Always remove the butane canister before storing the stove. Store the stove in its carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the stove for any signs of damage, leaks, or wear. If any issues are found, do not use the stove and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Gas One Portable Butane Gas Stove, consider the following:

  • Stove Not Lighting:
    • Ensure the butane canister is correctly inserted and the fuel lock lever is in the "LOCK" position.
    • Check if the control knob is in the "OFF" position before locking the canister.
