2. Setup

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 General Examination

  1. Turn on the power handle to illuminate the otoscope.
  2. Gently insert the specula into the patient's ear canal.
  3. Observe the tympanic membrane and ear canal through the otoscope's lens. The MacroView Plus offers approximately 5x magnification and a wide observation field, about 3 times larger than traditional diagnostic otoscopes (model 20000).
  4. The focus-free design minimizes the need for focal adjustment during examination.

3.2 Using the iExaminer Pro App

  1. Launch the iExaminer Pro app on your smartphone.
  2. The app will display the live view from the otoscope.
  3. Use the app's interface to capture still images or record video of the examination.
