4. Setup

1. Attach Side Handle: Screw the anti-vibration side handle into one of the threaded holes on the gearhead. The handle can be attached on either the left or right side, depending on user preference and application.
2. Adjust Wheel Guard: The wheel guard is tool-free adjustable. Press the silver latch on the gearhead and rotate the guard to the desired position for optimal protection. Release the latch to lock the guard in place. Ensure the guard is positioned to deflect sparks and debris away from the user.
3. Install Grinding/Cutting Wheel: Ensure the tool is unplugged. Place the inner flange on the spindle, then place the desired grinding or cutting wheel onto the spindle. Secure it with the outer flange and tighten using the spanner wrench provided. Press the spindle lock button to prevent the spindle from rotating while tightening.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Tool: To start the angle grinder, first push the small red safety tab on the paddle switch upwards. While holding the safety tab up, depress the paddle switch. The tool will start immediately.
2. Lock-On Function: For continuous operation, while the tool is running (paddle switch depressed), push the small button located at the very end of the handle. This will lock the paddle switch in the "on" position. To release the lock-on function and turn off the tool, simply depress the paddle switch again.
3. Grinding: Hold the grinder firmly with both hands. Allow the wheel to reach full speed before making contact with the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure and move the grinder smoothly across the surface.
4. Cutting: For cutting, hold the grinder firmly and position the cutting wheel perpendicular to the workpiece. Make shallow passes, gradually increasing the depth of the cut. Avoid twisting or binding the wheel in the cut.
5. Stopping the Tool: Release the paddle switch to stop the tool. If the lock-on function is engaged, depress the paddle switch to disengage it and stop the tool. Wait for the wheel to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.

6. Maintenance
